Mandy Webb BEd Hons, NaSENCO, Level 7 Assessing Children with Specialist Learning Difficulties, Level 5 Teaching Children with Specialist Learning difficulties, Level 2 Understanding Children And Young People’s Mental Health
I have been involved in Education for over 25 years. In the last 15 years, I have focused on neurodiversity and mental health, including being a SENCo and working with children and young adults on a 1:1 basis. Neville has been working in school with me for two years and recently became a certified Therapy Dog, following his training. He has been a key member of the Pastoral Team at school and was described by his assessor as, ‘the perfect Gentleman.’
The first 8 years of my career were spent as a class teacher. My interest in working with neurodiverse children was sparked by my teaching at a Montessori School, where I completed my Levels 5 and 7 Teaching and Assessing Children with Learning difficulties, In my current sessions I cover Well Being, Executive Function training, growth mindset, organisation and literacy support.
